Pre pack administration can be defined in simple terms as the process whereby an insolvent business that is due to be entered into administration is disposed. Although the buyers of the insolvent company can be anybody, it happens most of the time that the immediate managers of the fallen company turn out to be the buyers.
There is a marked difference between pre pack administration and business bankruptcy, and which is that there is no requirement that unsecured creditors be consulted.
